Brett Favre Traded to the New York Jets
It's now official...Brett Favre has been traded to the New York Jets. For the first time ever a cover athlete will be playing for a different team than the one represented on the game. The Pastapadre Online Dynasty has now advanced through week six, thankfully without experiencing any more major catastrophes. Arizona State was able to pull off a nail-biter of an upset over top ranked Georgia, but Clemson remains the highest ranking team at #4. In the first head-to-head game of the year it was Illinois coming out on top over Penn State to take control of the Big 10. Madden 09 Patch Details
Madden 09 producer Phil Frazier has revealed the details of the first patch for the game which is expected to be available on or around the release date of August 12th, as well as some potential areas to be addressed by a second patch and ideas for downloadable content. NBA 2K9 E3 Presentation Video
The first footage of NBA 2K9 gameplay has made its way out thanks to a site having recorded the presentation that was made at the E3 press conference a few weeks back. You can check out the three minute first quarter here. I like the frenzy of the crowd in the 2K9 video though the non-reaction to the alley-oop at the end would need to be fixed (early build).
