NBA 2K9 is now seeing a fair share of hands-on previews to flesh out the feature list that came out a while back. NBA Live 09 OTP Screenshots
EA Sports has sent over a batch of new screenshots featuring the Online Team Play in NBA Live 09. Last week I was able to detail the improvements made to the mode. These screens show some gameplay with the new meter displaying how well your player is performing, club joining and inviting, the trophy room, blog area, user scouting, and the recap screens following the game. EA-Take Two Saga Continues
In a press release today it was stated that EA and Take Two discussed the the potential acquisition over the course of the weekend. EA has now accepted Take Two's offer to provide them with a presentation that includes non-public information. EA will allow their offer for the outstanding shares to expire at at midnight eastern tonight. Importing Plays In Madden from Head Coach
The integration between NFL Head Coach 09 and Madden 09 is limited to the exporting of plays from Head Coach to Madden. I wanted to try this out in an effort to see how easily it can be done and how well it works. What I found is that it's relatively easy but doesn't work exactly as expected. NCAA Football 09 Sales Numbers
Official NPD sales numbers for July have been released and offer the first opportunity to compare year over year how NCAA Football 09 is faring. Sales on the 360 were nearly identical to last year. Despite gaining significant user base EA was unable to increase sales at all there. 397,000 this year just as it was with 08. Tiger 09 and NHL 2K9 Demos Available
The Tiger Woods 09 demo is out for both the 360 and PS3. It contains three different holes to play, feedback and custom drills with Hank Haney, and the opportunity to try out the new club tuning feature. First Patch for Madden 09 Out Now
The patch that was expected around release time for Madden 09 has now gone out for both the 360 and PS3. The 360 received the patch early this morning while the PS3 has had it for the last couple days. The list of what was addressed in this patch can be found below. 1.
