Never would I have imagined the news of the second roster update for Madden 09 would turn into such a dramatic event. NHL 2K9 Conference Call Recap
Bringing the fun back into hockey gaming has been the long publicly stated goal of the developers of NHL 2K9 and the importance of such continued to be stressed throughout a conference call held on Thursday. Madden 09 Roster Update #2 Details
The second roster update for Madden 09 is scheduled to release tomorrow for both the 360 and PS3. There are some ratings adjustments involved but this update is predominantly transaction based. NBA Live 09 Demo Videos
After a day of the NBA Live 09 demo being out for the 360 it looks like in general it has been well received. I've come across issues that are still apparent or marginally improved from when I last played the game but I'll be saving those thoughts for a full write-up this weekend. I really would've liked if they had included some elements of the NBA Academy because outside of 365 and Player DNA elements that are being prominently displayed through the demo it is tough to get a handle on the ...

355- Not used to a game being on this early during the week. I don't know but it doesn't have the same feel the opener normally has when it starts before many people are even home from work. 356- Make sure you get your choice in for this game in the Pick'em! NBA Live 09 Demo Out Now
In a surprise early release the demo for NBA Live 09 is now available for the 360. Given that this is a Thursday it could also bode well for the PS3 receiving it today, though no confirmation of that is available at this time. The demo wasn't expected to be out until the second or third week of the month. In the demo you can Play as the Celtics vs Lakers but EA has given the opportunity to play with them from different points in the season as a way to showcase the Live 365 and Player DNA ...

More on NBA Live 09 Rewind
Coming out of the community event I was in the minority when it came to the opinion of the Rewind feature in NBA Live 09. I felt that outside of the prospect of having the daily roster updates which is how 365 will likely be viewed by the masses, that Rewind had the potential for the most wide ranging appeal. A Few Upcoming Events
With the recent lull news wise I've been planning ahead for some of the soon to be released games.
