The news for NCAA Football 10 has been somewhat lackluster but that feeling may change after the announcement today that Erin Andrews will be included in the game as a sideline reporter. She already appears as the third member of the announcing team in the NCAA Basketball series. Erin Andrews is the newest addition to the NCAA Football 10 broadcast team, joining Kirk Herbstreit, Brad Nessler and Lee Corso in a game that envelopes the excitement and pageantry of college football at its be...

The Madden Mock Draft continues with the Chargers, Jets, and Broncos. These are three teams that have a completely different focus in this area of round one. The Chargers are in a position where they can draft the best available player that fits, the Jets have obvious needs at two skill positions on offense, and the Broncos get their second pick of the round to fill a need. Continue on to see the selections and leave your thoughts in the comments. Remember this is more about what players ...
  • Latest Madden Cover Candidates

EA Sports has released the next two candidates for the cover of Madden 10. They are Chiefs QB Matt Cassel and Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware. The two of them join Ed Reed, Adrian Peterson, Brandon Jacobs, and Ben Roethlisberger. Ware makes a lot of sense and it is no surprise that he would be included in this group. Outside of Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu it would be Ware and maybe James Harrison as the defensive players who could plausibly be considered for the cover. He had a monster season and...

July had been the expected arrival time for Wii MotionPlus before now which was somewhat problematic considering the June releases of Tiger Woods 10 and Grand Slam Tennis. Nintendo has officially announced today that the controller add-on will be available for purchase on June 8th. The price will be $19.99 or it can be purchased for $49.99 when bundled with Wii Sports Resort on July 26th. This means that M+ will be available for the launches of Tiger and Grand Slam on June 16th. These two...

The latest roster update for MLB 09 The Show came out earlier today. This is a significant one in that the players who appeared in their first MLB game can now have their real names included. Gary Sheffield also makes his way to the Mets roster. For those of you who can't connect the PS3 online I have uploaded the file to be grabbed here. Unzip it and then transfer the folder to the saves area in the XMB. There are 183 player movements in this update. The highlights as designated by SCEA ...

EA Sports has released another new screen from Madden 10. This one features the Seahawks' Matt Hasselbeck and #84 TJ Houshmandzadeh or #83 Deion Branch (there's some debate about who that is). You can see in the screen a few of the small additions to the game including the handwarmer, towels, and alternate color gloves. Check it out full size in the gallery. Along with the screenshot came a new posting on the Inside EA Blog recapping the Madden Community Event held last Friday. You can ch...

Continuing on with the Madden Mock Draft are three teams that are on the cusp of playoff contention and are good teams in Madden with each having very different strengths. This draft pick could help to push them over the edge with all three of them probably benefiting most from a defensive addition. Up now are the Redskins, Saints, and Texans. Remember this is more about what players would improve the teams the most in Madden 10 and beyond than it is a prediction of who will be taken in t...

With EA Sports holding an NCAA Football 10 event in NY leading up to the NFL Draft it would only make sense that the cover athletes of the four versions of the game would be in town. Last year all of them (Matt Ryan, Darren McFadden, DeSean Jackson, and Owen Schmidt) were in attendance along with a few others. The following players have been invited by the NFL to attend the draft: Matthew Stafford, Josh Freeman, Brian Cushing, Aaron Curry, Michael Crabtree, Eugene Monroe, Michael Oher, Br...
