An article today discussing the success of the Seattle Sounders and the team's sponsorship with Xbox 360 mentions that EA Sports has been in early talks to create a game for the league. MLS teams have been included in FIFA but they could potentially do a lot more with it as its own dedicated game. We believe there's a natural connection between our sport and their games, and there have been initial talks, very preliminary, but that's something that both sides will have to look at. It has bee...

There has been an interesting series of developments over the last month or so when it comes to the launch of Wii MotionPlus. At first it appeared that the Wiimote add-on was essentially delayed and would miss the releases of the first two games to utilize it, those being Tiger Woods 10 and Grand Slam Tennis. Then the official announcement was made that the M+ would be available on its own on June 8th and then the expected bundle with Wii Sports Resort would wait until July 26th. Today thoug...

Concluding the Madden Mock Draft are the Giants, Titans, Cardinals, and Steelers. These are teams that could most benefit by replacing someone who was lost over the off-season. On Thursday I'll have up my full NFL Mock Draft as the excitement builds for Saturday. Continue on to view the picks and leave your thoughts in the comments. Remember this is more about what players would improve the teams the most in Madden 10 and beyond than it is a prediction of who will be taken in the NFL Draf...

The official announcements are only a couple hours away but most of the covers for NCAA Football 10 are out. Gamestop has posted up all of them except the 360 version. On the PSP it is USC QB Mark Sanchez and the PS2 is Texas DE/OLB Brian Orakpo. Already known was Utah QB Brian Johnson who captured the PS3 version. I'll be updating this posting when the final cover athlete is revealed. All signs point to that being Michael Crabtree. Thanks for bryan121 for the tip. Update: Despite EA a...

With the cover news, first footage, event in NY later this week, and the draft day activities there is already a lot to look forward to for Madden 10. Still a new blog went up today with a handful of screenshots showing off the Wildcat with Ronnie Brown and the Dolphins. You can check out the blog posting and screens here and I've added the images to the gallery. Having the Wildcat in will definitely provide some much needed excitement to the games. Last year it was held out because of co...

Earlier today EA Sports revealed the remainder of the candidates for the cover of Madden 10. As predicted last week they are Larry Fitzgerald, Troy Polamalu, and Peyton Manning. They join Adrian Peterson, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Cassel, Brandon Jacobs, Ed Reed, and DeMarcus Ware. I've long been thinking that Fitzgerald and Polamalu were the top possibilities this year. With the news that they could possibly be sharing the cover it is interesting that both were revealed as candidates toge...
