The demo for Tiger Woods 10 is out today for both the 360 and PS3. It includes the ability to play two holes at Bethpage Black the site of this year's US Open, and two holes at Turnberry which will host this year's British Open. There is also the option to try the new Tournament Challenge mode with the 17th hole at Sawgrass playable. Making the demo even deeper is the practice round mode where users can place the ball anywhere desired on the course. No wonder then the demo comes in at over a...

UFC 2009 Undisputed is a game that novices can enjoy but takes a great deal of time to master. That can make the fights feel extremely satisfying as you learn and pick up on the more advanced elements of the game. Typically I don't like to take the time out to run through tutorials. I'd rather figure things out from playing games naturally. But with UFC it is almost necessary to do the tutorials. It takes about a half hour to get through the six of them. After doing so I felt more comfort...

Backbreaker remains somewhat of an enigma. Announced over two years ago the game has been in something akin to a PR lockdown since. While the allure of dynamic tackles remains intriguing there has been little else shown from the game and general details have been scarce. Gamestop had put it up for presale on its website and it looked like a fall release for the game with Atari as the publisher, only to pull the listing a few days later putting those things back in doubt. Earlier today two...

ESPN has a new feature up with Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown discussing the Wildcat formation. While its use in Madden 10 is mentioned a couple times, this article is more about the details of the formation and what someone running it looks for when on the field. You can check out the full article here. Fortunately for us, everything worked out. The thing about the Wildcat is you're able to get all of your playmakers on the field at the same time. It puts you in a position where the defense can'...

With UFC 2009 Undisputed out today I'm interested in reading your thoughts on the game so far. For a first attempt it seems as though THQ really came through but there are inevitably going to be some issues. I'm most excited to try out some of the different style fighters and see which suits my style of play the best. One issue that has become immediately apparent is that people can quit online matches without being penalized and the person who got quit on doesn't receive the win either. ...

Ever since it was revealed that the button control scheme was removed completely for Fight Night Round 4, in turn forcing Total Punch Control with the right analog, it has been a hot topic of discussion.Yesterday the EA Canada community manager responded basically stating that that the button controls wouldn't be returning and to learn to like TPC or move on. The posting has since been deleted from the EA Forum. I still don't understand the thinking behind this decision or the way in whic...
