While The Golf Club released for PC through Steam Early Access two weeks ago, it will still be some time before it arrives for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. A tweet from the official account has essentially stated that it won’t be out in May.
@dmoody_ Doubt end of May. We'd need to be in at Sony & Microsoft now. We're improving the game with feedback from Early Access ATM.

There was also a closed beta on PC prior to releasing through Steam so it appears they are working on the game on the fly and will try and fold all the improvements being made into the console versions rather than patching them at or shortly following release. It can be a several week period for certification from the console manufacturers once the game is turned over to them so obviously May would be unlikely at this point. The Golf Club has all along been advertised for spring and for the game to hit that target it would need to be out by June 20.
