Amazon has scored a big win for it’s Prime instant streaming service. Beginning May 21st HBO content will be added to the streaming library – something previously only available to those with an HBO subscription through On-Demand or HBO GO.
While it won’t feature recent showings of every series – don’t expect Game of Thrones to be on there for a few years as an example – it will have all the episodes of past ones like The Sopranos, Deadwood, Rome, Band of Brothers, The Wire, and Six Feet Under.
Amazon has continued to try and beef up its instant streaming options in the competition with Netflix. Both companies are producing their own original content as well.
