Five New Legends Added For NHL 13 Includes Two Women

EA Sports today announced a new group of legends for NHL 13 that will be joining the nine players that debuted last year. Doug Gilmour, Jari Kurri, and Dominik Hasek are being added along with a first for a licensed major sports title – the inclusion of women as playable characters. Four-time Olympic medalists Angela Ruggiero (USA) and Hayley Wickenheiser (Canada) are the breakthrough athletes being introduced in NHL 13.

Legends will be integrated within NHL 13 through several modes including Be a Legend (using the legend through a career experience), legend teams (comprised of legends and current NHL stars for use both offline and online), Hockey Ultimate Team (available as rare cards to collect) and Be a GM (can be added to team’s roster).
