Details on Audio Improvements in NBA 2K12

With just over a week until NBA 2K12 releases 2K Sports has yet to discuss what has been done this year for Association mode (though we know it will have an online component) and anything to do online play. Instead of finally getting to those areas today the company released a new blog going over all the additions and improvements made to audio.

2K12 features a three man booth by bringing in Steve Kerr, revamped color commentary, and enhancements to the way big moments are called. The NBA Draft aspect will feature audio from commissioner David Stern and deputy commissioner Adam Silver and a large number of in-arena sounds have been added. NBA’s Greatest mode also features commentary that has been specially recorded or made to sound like it was taking place in year’s past.
