Teaser Trailer for Real Steel

Dreamworks has released the first teaser trailer for Real Steel. In Real Steel the year is 2020 with boxing between humans having been outlawed and replaced by combat between giant robots. Hugh Jackman stars as a former boxer turned trainer/promoter that rescues a robot named Atom from a junkyard and enters it in the World Robot Boxing League. Motion-capture animation is used for when the machines are fighting (and Sugar Ray Leonard advised on those sequences) but 19 actual animatronic robots were built for scenes with the human actors. Real Steel is slated to release on October 7th 2011.
