QuickHit Football Adds DeMarcus Ware

The latest player to be added to the browser based management sim QuickHit Football is Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware. QuickHit announced the acquisition of the NFL license for branding such as team names, logos, uniforms, field art, stadiums, and other league branding back in June. However they are still restricted to having five players that are currently active in the league given they don’t have a deal with the NFLPA. Randy Moss was the first one announced for the upcoming season. Ware has signed on to be the second with more announcements still to come.

Still no word exactly on how the teams will be implemented within the game, though the early indication had been that there would be a charge to use NFL teams while generic ones would remain free. Ware and Moss join a rich roster of NFL legends and coaches but the big new selling point will be that NFL integration.

QuickHit is set to “relaunch” with a number of enhancements in tow along with the addition of the NFL license and new “spokesplayers”. That is expected to happen in advance of the kickoff to the regular season.
