Tommy Lee Jones Cast in Captain America

With shooting planned to begin late next month the casting for Captain America is beginning to round out. The latest addition is Tommy Lee Jones though the part he will play is still uncertain. Speculation has been that he will take on the role of General Chester Philips who is the military officer that chooses Steve Rogers for the super-soldier program. He certainly would have the look and presence for the part of a General. He joins Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Sebastian Stan (James ‘Bucky’ Barnes), Hugo Weaving (The Red Skull), Haley Atwell (Peggy Carter), and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) as those confirmed for the film.
