The Show to Patch Today’s Patch

Earlier today the third patch for MLB 10: The Show released only to find it contained a significant bug that was severe enough to require immediate response. With the introduction of the patch runs are now being counted on third outs which is obviously a huge problem. If you have not downloaded the patch you may want to avoid doing so for the time being, however that would mean playing the game without being connected online.

SCEA has since responded to the issue by stating that a fix through another patch is coming and could arrive as early as tomorrow. Given that this is a Sony game they don’t have to go through the same lengthy certification process (or at the very least get it pushed to the front of the line).
