First Trailer for Robert Rodriguez’s ‘Machete’

A first trailer for Robert Rodriguez’s new action film Machete has been released. The film is produced by Robert Rodriguez and co-directed with Ethan Dummies. Machete centers around a Mexican ex-Federale (Danny Trejo) who is betrayed by his corrupt former boss. A fake trailer for the film ran in between Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s Grindhouse films, Planet Terror and Death Proof. The film’s cast is loaded with big names that include Robert Dinero, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, and Steven Seagal. Danny Trejo, who plays ‘Machete’, is regular in many of Rodriguez’s movies. I don’t think they could have found a better guy for the role. Machete will be released into theaters in the US on September 3, 2010.
