New on DVD: Week of April 12

This is a very slow week for movie releases. There aren’t many ‘must buys’ out there. I did get the chance to see The Slammin’ Salmon and I was surprised with how much I enjoyed it. You either will love this movie, or hate it. A quick look at the reviews will prove it. For example, IMDB.com users rated it a 6.9/10, which isn’t bad. But Rottentomatoes.com gave this movie a 39%, making it ‘rotten’. The comedy centers around a retired boxer’s (Michael Clark Duncan) restaurant and it’s staff. If you’re in the mood for a mildly funny comedy, then I’d recommend giving it a rent. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray:
