New on DVD: Week of September 22

There doesn’t seem to be very many big titles coming out this week unless you’re a Star Trek fan. “Trekkies” will be happy to know there are a handful of movies making their way to Blu-ray today. The only movie that really caught my eye was Observe and Report.

I was a little disappointed in it, and didn’t think it was one of Seth Rogen’s best movies. It had it’s moments of course, but overall I felt letdown. Throughout the movie I couldn’t help but think about Paul Blart: Mall Cop since both movies center around mall security. If you’ve enjoyed Rogen’s other movies I’d recommend you at least rent it. Some of the exchanges between Rogen and Ray Liotta were quite funny.
