Default Madden 09 Demo impressions

I just checked this morning and the Madden 09 demo is on Xbox Live. I'm not sure if it's out on PS3 yet but you could check.

Needless to say this demo is much more refined than the DVD demo. I'll have some comparisons up later, but one thing to take note of is in this one you only get one timeout instead of three.

Default Pretty Sweet

Just downloaded and played through the Madden Moment leading the Giants to touchdowns on three consecutive trips through the demo. Graphics are nice, gameplay is tight and very responsive. I'd be very interested to know what difficulty level this was being played at as it seems somewhat easy to move the football. I truly believe this will be a great year for Madden fans everywhere!!

I'm not positive, but I think the difficulty level is based off your virtual trainer results.

I can't believe you can't user strafe catch on offense but I guess all the people with bad stick skills complained about it so they didn't add it(even though it is on ncaa). Besides that though the demo is amazing.

Yes! Not only have I seen a lot of drop passes but a good portion of those have came when the receivers were pretty wide open.

Default Can't have it both ways......

It seems like people always find something to complain about.....In NCAA Football it's "I can't believe Robo-QB, and My QB throws 90% of his passes for completions." Flip that and now we are already complaining that receivers are actually dropping passes in a Madden Demo?!?!?!?!? Honestly, everyone needs to just enjoy what looks like is going to be the best next-gen Madden yet and have some fun!!!! Can't wait until August 12th...

You wanna know why sooo many ppl complain about EA's game every yr? Its because it doesn't take the necessary strides from yr to yr and EA seems fine with that. You are part of that problem because you are content with mediocrity. The people who say "stop complaining and enjoy the game" are the worst part of the community because they dont help progress the evolution of the game they make sure it stays in an endless rut.

As for this demo, its almost completely irrelevant. It doesn't matter whether you download it or not, the demo doesn't help you to decide if you'd want to purchase the game or not. You barely spend ANY time actually playing the game. This has to be one of the worst demo's iv ever played.
