While most sports games see considerable discounts at retailers within weeks of release, Pro Evolution Soccer is the rare one that lags far behind with any price drop given that it doesn’t move a great deal of copies in North America. Amazon today though has the latest game in the series for $40 on both PlayStation 4Â and Xbox One. There has been no sign given that PES 2017 will be found for cheaper anywhere later this week.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 received a 9/10 review and is arguably the top of the class as far as gameplay goes in the genre. The drawbacks are licensing-related (if making a choice, go with PS4, since creations can be shared there and not on XB1) and that there hasn’t been much creativity or innovation with its modes in recent years.
