On the first night of the 2016 NFL Draft, EA Sports added in the 31 first round selections to Madden NFL 16’s Ultimate Team. You can check out all the details on those players here.
Today they’ve introduced even more incoming rookies to the popular team-building mode. Rather than just adding in all the second rounders (there are still 10 missing) they’ve also mixed in some seemingly random selections from the third and fourth rounds.Â
Like the first rounders, these players have “Gold” (rookie) and “Elite” (future) versions of cards available in the mode. Unlike the top 31 picks however, these players have not received Overall Ratings based solely on where they were selected in the draft.
The Overall Ratings for the highest pick in the group (Emmanuel Ogbah) are 79/92 while those for the lowest (Connor Cook) are 80/89. So there’s also now some variance being seen between the two types of cards rather than the 11 points that separated them for all the first rounders. Additionally some of the players, like Jaylon Smith with 83/93, are even rated higher than those who were selected long before them in the draft.
