Improvements to gameplay detailed in stream for MLB The Show 16

A live stream held today by MLB The Show 16 developers went through improvements to expect for gameplay. The most notable changes affect bunt logic and base stealing – both desperately needed after being exploited heavily last year.

A ton of work has gone into the variety of animations, performance of players who are out of their primary position, new types of swings and running styles, 20 umpires all with unique personalities, more personalized home run rituals like Edwin Encarnacion’s walking the parrot and Jose Bauitsta’s ALDS bat flip, plus Pat Venditte will be able to switch-pitch but no other players will be allowed to have that capability.
