The extremely popular EA Sports Hockey League was one of the many features that didn’t make the transition from NHL 14 to NHL 15 on the new systems. Those who own NHL 15 however will be able to get an early preview of the mode that will be returning in NHL 16.Â
EA is holding a beta initially accessed through NHL 15 for the new EASHL that will appear in NHL 16. The beta period begins July 30 and will run for a full week. Those who have NHL 15 on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, or have EA Access on XB1, will be able to play in the beta. Those with NHL 15 on Xbox 360 or PS3 that now have one of the new systems can apply for a code though quantities are said to be limited.
Available to NHL 15 owners only, EA SPORTS NHL will be releasing a limited access EA SPORTS Hockey League Beta starting July 30 until August 6 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This will be your only chance to experience the new EASHL in NHL 16 before the game hits stores September 15.
