Official Title Announced for Batman V Superman

Warner Bros. today officially announced the title for the upcoming sequel to Man of Steel. The film has been given the name Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. That would seem to establish itself as an origin story for the Justice League film that director Zack Snyder will be handling as well.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, and Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman along with Amy Adams (Lois Lane) and Lawrence Fishburne (Perry White). Earlier this year the planned release was pushed back to May 6, 2016.
