With the second season of the award-winning series House of Cards set to debut next week, Netflix has announced that a third season has been ordered. The show originally was slated for 26 episodes over two seasons and there had been some concern over whether it would go beyond that but now that has been put to rest. Netflix is also in negotiations for more Arrested Development.
House of Cards earned Netflix its first Emmy nominations (including Best Drama, Actor, and Actress) and walked away with a win for Best Directing making them the first non-network to win an Emmy. The streaming original series will debut its second season on February 14. As with all of the series Netflix produces, all episodes will be available to watch on day one.
