Batman Joins Superman in Next Man of Steel

The sequel to Man of Steel will also feature Batman. The news was made official today by Warner Bros. at their Comic-Con panel. Zack Synder will direct the film being co-written with David S. Goyer and the studio plans for release summer 2015.
Henry Cavill will return as Clark Kent/Superman along with Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams, and Diane Lane. The actor to play Bruce Wayne/Batman has not yet been cast. It is not however expected to be Christian Bale who has expressed his desire to move on from the character.
