Microsoft May Bring Back Heroes

Microsoft is currently considering a return for the NBC series Heroes which ran for four seasons from 2006-2010. In the past the company has considered starting up their own original programming – they tried to get Conan O’Brien for a show that would have aired through Xbox Live before he went to TBS – and Heroes could represent the start of that as they look to debut their new console late this year.

The show would feature a cast of new characters with the possibility of those from the past making cameos. Heroes was a huge hit with fans and critics at least up until the finale for the first season. Season two was then affected by the writer’s strike and the series went steadily downhill from there.
