Amazon Launches 14 Original Series Pilots

Not to be left behind by Netflix, Amazon’s instant streaming service has continued to work towards offering its own original programming. Now available to watch are the pilots for 14 different comedy or children’s series with the biggest being Zombieland. The shows are free for those with an Amazon Prime subscription. All the pilots can be found on this Amazon page.
Interestingly viewer response will help determine which shows get picked up for full runs. Amazon will count how many people watched each pilot, how many watched each pilot from start to finish, how many shared it on social media, and the reviews given to each. Additionally the company will evaluate feedback from an online panel recruited on Amazon and traditional offline focus groups.
