It’s been a big 24 hours of free agency signings and trade announcements. While teams have somewhat reigned in the outrageous spending of year’s past – there has been no Mario Williams type deal handed out – some of the most high profile names remain available. Cliff Avril, Michael Bennett, Jake Long, Wes Welker, and Greg Jennings are still out there. The Ravens had a rough day losing Dannell Ellerbe, who they had hope to re-sign, while letting go of Anquan Boldin and Paul Kruger. Combined with the retirement of Ray Lewis and Matt Birk, and potential departure of Ed Reed, next season’s team will look a lot different than the one that just won the Super Bowl.
