S.H.I.E.L.D. TV Show On The Way

Joss Whedon will be taking his success with The Avengers to the small screen with a focus on the organization S.H.I.E.L.D rather than the superheros themselves. S.H.I.E.L.D. will be written by Whedon who also plans to direct the pilot for ABC.

Only a few weeks ago Whedon was announced to be returning for The Avengers 2 while also being locked into an exclusive contract with Marvel for television productions. S.H.I.E.L.D. will be the first project under the new deal.
