There are just six weeks until NBA Live 13 should be releasing yet EA Sports remains quiet about their intentions for the game. The biggest question of course is whether it’ll release at all or not – indications from EA certainly haven’t been encouraging even in that basic regard and retailers remain in the dark. Is could also be planned as a digital release though the company has refused comment on all matters.
Now though an extended gameplay video has leaked – the first opportunity to actually see Live 13 in action – with a full quarter of the Heat at Thunder. It’s pretty clear why the game is being hidden as the video will do nothing to enhance confidence towards the product’s prospects. Continue on to check it out and leave any thoughts in the comments!
(Update) To little surprise EA has already had Youtube remove the NBA Live 13 video – added a working one above but it’ll likely have the same fate. If you’d like to check it out it’s been uploaded to grab here too (that’s now dead as well). If this was an intentional leak by the company to gauge reaction and determine how to proceed – release it or cancel – they got their answer swiftly.
(Update #2) EA has continued to pull down the video from anywhere they can. Kotaku though is continuing to host it outside their reach.
