EA Sports has released a new developer blog for NHL 13 detailing the enhancements to be expected within Be a Pro mode and EA Sports Hockey League. “Hockey I.Q.” is a big part of making the experience better by having AI teammates perform better and more true to life but the improvements go beyond just that.
In Be a Pro users will now be able to request trades and can choose to retire. EASHL will introduce better matchmaking, leaderboards for clubs that track just the games played with a full six users, performance points that encourage more users being involved in each game, harsher penalties for quitters, and captain designations for each club.
