Breaking Bad’s Final Season Starts July 15

When Breaking Bad was renewed for a fifth and final season it received a 16 episode order meaning its network (AMC) planned for either one extra long season or to break it into two separate runs. The answer has now come along with a premiere date.
The new season of Breaking Bad will begin on Sunday July 15 marking the start of the first half of the season. It will then return in summer 2013 with the last eight episodes to close off the highly acclaimed series.
