New MLB Players Emerge First in 2K12

The first in-season roster update for MLB 12: The Show arrived on Monday but did not deliver any new players who have made their debuts this season. To MLB 2K12’s credit the game has gotten some details right over the competition like the new playoff structure and division tiebreakers – it’s also the first to deliver names like Yu Darvish, Yoenis Cespedes, and even those who had been absent such as Jamie Moyer to the roster this year.

The two big arrivals are of course Darvish who comes in rated 84 overall and Cespedes who begins his career at 79 overall. Once those two in particular and a few others are added to The Show there will be another player face comparison opportunity to vote on and determine which game represented the new arrivals in better fashion.
