Jurassic Park 3D Re-Release Coming Next Summer

With several blockbusters such as the Star Wars series and Titanic getting 3D re-releases the film that comes to mind that arguably would most warrant another trip out to see is the original Jurassic Park. Having been rumored for some time now a release date has actually been officially nailed down. Jurassic Park 3D will open in theaters on July 19, 2013.

Jurassic Park originally released in 1993 and went on to make nearly a billion dollars worldwide. Special effects wise the film was an incredible achievement. It’s even more stunning that here we are 20 years later the effects still hold up so well. Hopefully the 3D will actually enhance the experience as it’s been a long time since I’ve felt any desire to go out and see a movie with that being the central draw.
