The Walking Dead Gets Third Season Renewal

There was no question that it would happen but today AMC made it official – the network has picked up the zombie-survival comic adaptation The Walking Dead for a third season. The news comes after only two episodes of season two have aired both of which have delivered enormous ratings with the premiere breaking cable ratings records and the follow-up only dropping off slightly. The third season is expected to be 13 episodes – the same as the current season will run – and will debut next fall.
