Madden NFL 12 Week Five Upcoming Roster Update Discussion

The post-week five roster update for Madden NFL 12 is expected out on Friday. The big loss this time around will come to the Texans as Mario Williams is out for the year. His 91 overall rating and pass rush ability will be sorely missed on their defense.

Names to look for on the rise this week include Doug Baldwin, Carlos Rogers, Von Miller, Steve Smith, Victor Cruz, Jimmy Graham…and again Calvin Johnson inching towards the 99 (he became the first receiver in NFL history to score 9 TDs in the first 5 games). Expect a drop to Michael Vick after throwing four picks – he has now been intercepted more in the first five games than he was all of last year. This update will also represent the starting status of Tim Tebow as he replaces Kyle Orton for the Broncos. Surprise teams (going either direction) like the 49ers, Lions, Bills, and Eagles will likely see more sweeping changes across their entire rosters.
