Though it has yet to have a release date officially announced for January (official website does show January 3rd though) retailers have rolled out details on their pre-order deals for UFC Undisputed 3. Early this month the news regarding GameStop’s deal hit – they are offering four exclusive fighters that can’t be obtained anywhere else. Nick Diaz, Phil Davis, Jason Miller, and Brian Stann all probably should’ve been included on the base roster but instead you’ll need to buy UFC 3 from GameStop to get them.

The other options have now come into focus and will be of more interest to those who don’t feel the need to have those fighters. At Amazon (360, PS3) they will be including a $10 promotional credit for future purchases on the site along with a ‘boost pack’ for use on a created fighter. Meanwhile Walmart is throwing in a $10 eGift card and will provide five exclusive fights for the ‘Ultimate Fights’ mode.

Again sadly consumers will be forced to choose going with a certain retailer dependent on the pre-order deals and in turn will miss out on something else because of it. What it basically comes down to in this case is paying the full $60 to get those four fighters or taking a less appealing in-game bonus but getting a $10 promo credit out of it.
