There have been a number of missteps by THQ in regards to the handling of downloadable content for WWE All-Stars. The latest is a delay in the release of the first DLC due to “technical issues” for the Xbox 360 after the PS3 received it all early last week. It is now expected out no earlier than next week for the 360 and there are no guarantees it will even be out then. As a result the pre-order bonus of “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Ted DiBiase Jr. will remain unavailable to be claimed after a month and potentially longer following release of the game.
Besides those pre-order characters the DLC includes the free Honky Tonk Man and the “American Dream Pack” which features Dusty and Cody Rhodes for $2. THQ initially did not make it well known that the pre-order bonus wouldn’t be available immediately and now the well publicized date of April 19th (still being displayed on the game’s official website) has been missed for a large segment of consumers.
