Trio Cast for Charlie’s Angels Reboot

The upcoming reboot of Charlie’s Angels for ABC has found its crime-fighting trio. Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights), Rachael Taylor (Transformers), and Annie Ilonzeh (General Hospital) are all either locked in or entering final negotiations for the roles.

Kelly will play Marisa, who is described as a former U.S. Marine and hand-to-hand combat expert as well as a neat freak. Taylor will be Abby, the youngest and an expert con who is skilled in Krav Maga. Ilonzeh as Kate is an ex-police officer and martial arts expert.

Also previously cast for the series is Robert Wagner as Charlie. The show will be set in Miami (rather than Los Angeles) and is expected to debut in the fall.
