Raising Hope Renewed for Season Two

Back in early October the Fox comedy Raising Hope became the first new series of the fall to get a full season order. Now Raising Hope is the first to get renewed for a second season. The series centers on a young guy that gets stuck with a baby and his somewhat dysfunctional family that helps him out. It is the highest rated new show for Fox averaging a 3.0 18-49 rating.
Raising Hope quickly became one of my favorite comedies currently on network TV, right up there with Community and Modern Family. Given the good ratings it was sure to get renewed but it is especially encouraging seeing the confidence Fox has in the show going forward by making the early calls on it.
