First Look At Chris Evans As Captain America

EW.com has posted the first official photo of Chris Evans in ‘Captain America’ gear. It’s pretty much what I had pictured the character would look like. The only thing really missing at this point is his mask. In the interview with EW, Evans talks about how at first he was a bit apprehensive about accepting the role of Steve Rogers. Evans recalls, “I was just scared. I realized my whole decision making process was fear based, and you never want to make a decision out of fear. I can’t believe was almost too chicken to play Captain America.” Captain America: The First Avenger is being directed by Joe Johnston, and it set to hit theaters July 22, 2011.
