Backbreaker Demo Could Be Coming Soon

Last week through a PR representative it was stated that the demo for Backbreaker would not be out until a few days before release (360) and a week after release (PS3). It appears that they may in fact be working towards getting them out earlier. Considering demos are now released on Tuesdays for both the 360 and PS3 that leaves May 18th and May 25th as the landing spots should it be out before the game hits stores.

When it arrives will of course be largely dependent on when it was submitted to Microsoft and Sony. Ideally they would want to avoid the demo hitting on the very day that UFC 2010 Undisputed is released (25th) so the goal might be to get it out next week. However if it was just submitted it would be unlikely to clear through that quickly.

Regardless hopefully this is the case with them wanting it out ASAP and the demo isn’t going to be held until specific dates such as those that were communicated earlier. If the demo comes late it won’t matter why though, whether it would be attributed to strategy or submitting it too late it would be viewed as a bad sign.
