After last weekend was dominated by the one release, as Alice in Wonderland raked in $116 million, this weekend there are four new films hitting theaters. Green Zone goes for the action crowd, Remember Me targets the teen females, and She’s Out of My League provides the mainstream comedy while Our Family Wedding aimed at an urban crowd. None are expected to contend for the top spot as Alice should carry the weekend yet again.

Green Zone has been taking advantage of the Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass pairing. Even ads have been mentioning the connection to the Bourne movies. That will be successful to an extent, and there is an obvious comfort in knowing those two worked together with the perception being that it is almost certain to be high quality and entertaining. Reviews have been mixed, and the subject matter and setting doesn’t have the same appeal as the spy flicks. There has been a lack of action thrillers lately though and it has positioned itself well to take advantage of the marketplace. Green Zone could open with about $22 million.

Recent movies, such as last month’s Dear John, have proven that the teenage female base of moviegoers will come out in droves when they are interested in the subject matter. That could be the case with Remember Me which features Twilight star Robert Pattinson. There is also the added draw that the trailer for Eclipse will debut in front of the film, however the effect of that should be minimal given that it hit the internet yesterday. Reviews have been poor, with some absolutely hating the film, but that won’t matter to this demo. Remember Me should finish the weekend around $13 million.

The R rated comedy She’s Out of My League looks to follow on the success of other adult oriented comedies and features a cast of mostly unknowns. Early buzz was positive, with the studio screening it to get word of mouth going, but reviews have been mixed. Split opinion on a comedy of this nature though amongst reviewers is encouraging though. Direct competition is pretty much limited to Cop Out although Green Zone could steal some away from it also. Look for She’s Out of My League to pull in about $12 million.

Our Family Wedding brings an ensemble cast and familiar plot, which has proven to be successful before. However in this case support will likely be limited. It has gotten atrocious reviews (only one positive so far on Rotten Tomatoes) and it is only opening in about 1500 screens primarily focusing on urban areas. Our Family Wedding could make $8 million.

Opening Predictions
Green Zone: $22 million
Remember Me: $13 million
She’s Out of My League: $12 million
Our Family Wedding: $8 million
