New on DVD: Week of December 21

I was surprised to see there weren’t bigger movie releases for the week of Christmas. The big name this week is Peter Jackson’s District 9. If you are a Sci-Fi fan, then this is probably a movie you’d enjoy. If you are a fan of Comedy, Mike Judge’s Extract was solid. The film received a “fresh rating” on Rottentomatoes.com and is in the same mold of Office Space. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray:
