The significance in the numbers of DVR viewers continues to rise and so does its importance to the success of the shows most affected. While it can’t single-handedly save a program (ex. Dollhouse) it is now being considered more by the networks. Fringe continues to stand out the most considering it goes up against powerhouses such as CSI, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Office.
