New on DVD: Week of September 29

It looks like another slow week for movie releases. Nothing on the list seems to be worth a DVD or Blu-ray purchase. I did get a chance to see Away We go. It was a decent romantic comedy that did have it’s moments, but definitely not something I’d see again.

A couple of collections being released on DVD this week are the Batman and Blade Collections. If the Blade Collection was being released on Blu-ray I’d consider picking it up. I really enjoyed the first two Blade films and I believe the visuals and sound would be outstanding in hi-def. Unfortunately, these are only being released on standard DVD this week.
