Madden 10 WIP Broadcast Camera Angle

One frequent request for the Madden series has been for the addition of a playable broadcast camera angle. The devs are currently working on one that could roll out with either the second patch or as free downloadable content. EA has posted up a video displaying the work-in-progress broadcast camera. As I noted on Twitter they need to shift the camera so there isn’t all that empty space behind the QB which would provide better downfield viewing. Also the scorebar at the bottom of the screen becomes troublesome. While it would definitely take some getting used to playing from that angle after being so accustomed to the behind-the-QB camera it’s great to see the Madden team working on adding options. Even though I’ll likely stick with the default I was pleased to see that they’ve even made the different cameras selectable for each user in online franchises.
